In addition, these businesses provide benefits for GLBT employees and their families and do so publicly. On Christmas Eve, CORPS volunteers headed to the George R. Brown Convention Center to help take part in the Citywide Club of Clubs Christmas Eve Feast. On Thanksgiving Day Change Corps was fortunate enough to take part in the 24th Annual Thanksgiving Superfeast. Hundreds of volunteers showed up to serve a delicious Thanksgiving meal to those in need, or those that just wanted some company on their Thanksgiving. CORPS participated in a clean-up of Olivewood Cemetery earlier this year. Olivewood contains the remains of some of Houston's first African American residents and some of the first freed slaves in our area.
